I have been on many many diets and lost 100’s of cumulative pounds.
Gain 10 lose 10 on and on. – the core problem is that I like sweets and I hate exercise.
So I gain 10 or maybe 20 lbs and then when I can’t do up my jeans any more, I go on a food diet plan or take appetite supplements and lose the weight.
Yes I know the long term solution would be to exercise but you know what I don’t like exercise. I at the ripe young age of 50, have decided that is OK. I will continue to eat and diet like I have for the last 20 years or so.
What I have discovered is that different diets work with different people. I have to admit that I am a fan of negative calorie counting. I find it easy to follow and and I lose between 5 and 10 lbs every 10 to 14 days consistently!
So What is Negative Calorie counting?
A negative calorie food is a food that is purported to require more calories to be digested than it provides. That is, its thermic effect is greater than its calorie content.

So said a different way – when a person eats specific combinations of food at specific times during the day and the foods changes in a planned way everyday, the metabolism gets confused, and so it never gets into a routine and in a nutshell burns more calories than are consumed over a number of days(usually 10).
And to get your interest going there is often a cheat time or day where you can eat everything you are craving and then continue to follow the weight lose plan. One of the key factors is that One can only eat until satisfied and not full, thats where appetite control comes in, more on that later. Another key part of this is there is a list of a couple of hundred everyday foods that are allowed. Initially one chooses from this list, the foods that they like.
Then from this list in both cases, a meal plan is generated. The food plan that is generated must be eaten at each meal for the specific day: must be eaten together as grouped, but there is no breakfast, lunch dinner, snack definition. One can eat which ever meal anytime during the day. So meal 5 could be for breakfast and meal 1 could be in the middle of the day. The unbreakable rule is that each meal must be eaten on its specific day. Remember YOU choose the food, that makes up the meal.
There are 2 Weight Loss Plans that I use in Different Circumstances.
When I am home and on a routine schedule I use what I will call Negative Calorie Plan 1 and when I am working away from home and living in hotels and meeting rooms I use what I will call plan 2.
Here are the main differences and why they work at different times
Diet Plan 1 Fatloss4idiots
This weight dropper normally has 4 of your choices per meal that as mentioned above are foods that are liked from the original choice list. These foods can be purchased and eated directly from the local grocery store and Yup ..eaten without preparation. This is why it is so simple to use when traveling. The downside is that these foods often do NOT go ‘together’ as a meal. So a meal may consist of Chicken Breast Deli slice, eggs,Aalmonds and Cottage cheese. One food or all 4 foods maybe eaten for that meal. On the very rare occasion a meal may have both bacon and eggs together.
However as I said this is easy to follow when travelling one trip to the store and a couple of days food is ready to be eaten. It is not unusual for me to drop 8-10 pounds in 11 days on this one.
Diet Plan2 Stripthatfat
This plan has the same theory and concept, with the main difference being that the food combinations for each meal tend to ‘ go together‘ which is not the case with diet plan 1. Therefore the feeling of eating a hot meal and having meat and veggies on the plate at the same time isn’t as harsh as above.
It also manages to create combinations that have a ‘comfort food’ feeling to them. I don’t generally feel that its a harsh as Diet plan 1, I do move from plan 1 to plan 2 directly after each other and find it easier that just picking one and doing it over again depending on my weight loss goal. Note there is no reason at all – why using either plan cycle continually won’t work .. I simply enjoy the change.
I mentioned at the beginning of this post that I utilize a appetite control. One of the newest products on the market is the Slim Weight Patch. It really seems to control my appeitiate so I can stop eating when I feel satisfied and it is easy to walk away. It seems to take away my ‘need’ to feel full, and so I can follow the diet much easier.
